Description
National institutional capacities and technical capabilities
of all stakeholders, particularly government staff’s
and farmers’ were strengthened to enforce appropriate
phytosanitary measures and pest management practices
to combat infestation and eliminate further spread of
RPW. It is expected that these results will contribute
to conserving date palm cultivation in the target area,
enhancing and sustaining farmers’ incomes and rural
communities’ livelihoods, and increasing food security
